Carriganog has done very well for Aidan O'Brien, gaining impressive victories at Clonmel and Wexford before a fair effort in a Navan Grade 2 over an extra half-mile. He'll take some beating but Willie Mullins had no less than eight entered at the early stage and relies on SMASHING, who is handed the vote. A very experienced campaigner in France, he has been bought for chasing but produced a smart performance to beat Speckled Wood at Fairhouse and any further rain would aid his cause. Dalasiri finished last of four behind today's rival One Fine Day at Fairyhouse in April but has made greater strides than that rival and can take revenge but the consistent though luckless Everything Zain hasn't run for over a year.
