In depth

Verdict

Ransom once looked quite promising but hasn't been seen since making a winning debut over fences at Clonmel over two years ago. KILBANE RIVER appeared to need every inch of the 3m trip when scoring here last month but with more testing conditions and just a 3lb rise he looks ready to complete the double. Will Jamie Run, who led for much of the way that day, should get closer over this shorter trip and on better terms but Supreme Builder is a real staying type as he showed when ploughing through the mud to land a 3m handicap at Thurles last month. He found 2m2f much too short at Gowran a couple of days later and looks a big threat to all.
