Verdict

GENERAL PRINCIPLE didn't have much to do to win over 2m4f at Gowran once his main rival has departed but again gave the impression that he needed this longer trip and a test of stamina which he should get here so gets the vote to follow up. All Hell Let Loose won at Kilbeggan last summer and didn't reappear until Cheltenham where he was never in the hunt in a Listed contest. He should have come on for the run though Twiss's Hill may prove more of a threat. She would have won at Thurles but for falling at the last and was tackling Grade 2 company on this track at the last meeting. Carrigeen Acebo gained a shock victory at Thurles before a fine run in a very tough Naas handicap so looks on the upgrade.
