A typical Lingfield sprint handicap and all a question of who gets the splits at the right time as they sweep off the bend into the straight. Chevise has been in good heart of late but this could well prove too sharp for him whilst Dark Lane wins his share and David Evans has booked Richard Hughes to try and finesse his charge home. Speedyfix has found strong form of late and is definite shortlist material if repeating recent efforts here but the choice is PHAROH JAKE, who makes his eighth start of the year for John Bridger. His busy schedule seems to be doing him no harm whatsoever with his latest run seeing him only reeled in by the sweeping late of thrust of Sweet Ovation. That was a really good effort in a competitive heat and the dual course and distance winner last December is taken to go one better now.
