In depth

Verdict

A low-grade contest featuring many an unexposed sort entering handicaps for the first time so a market check is advised. Charlie Rascal has sprinkles of form last term which afford him possibilities on just a second start since being gelded. Trautmann showed promise on his third start over the winter at Kempton and is shortlisted but the leading overall form profile is provided by TOO MANY SHOTS. He's performed quite consistently since being gelded over the winter and has already finished runner-up here on a couple of occasions, his best run coming behind La Vie En Rose on his penultimate outing over this trip. Cape Cruiser is a potential improver for the thriving Beckett and Berry combination.
