Verdict

Kakapuka was raised only 4lb for an earlier win at Kempton but has found that beyond him though it's no surprise that Ostralegus failed to cope with an 11lb hike after winning a maiden race here in January. Athletic beat Presumido a length at Kempton before the latter scored over track and trip last month. BERTIE BLU BOY was behind Presumido last time but used up plenty of petrol from an outside draw to take up his preferred front-running role. That shouldn't be the case today from a more favourable inside stall and Lisa Williamson's charge looks likely to make a bold bid at the head of affairs.
