      Verdict

A poor contest in which the car parks are likely to find themselves fuller than the stands but for betting interest. RICH HARVEST is the token pick with Young Ivanhoe and Billberry sure to have their supporters. The selection has ability but does not always consent to use it. He was noticably not knocked about at Folkestone when chances of victory had evaporated and as he's won over this trip in the past, it certainly wasn't the distance that beat him. Young Ivanhoe has campaigned in much better company than this. He was rated in the high 70s earlier in the year and has dropped dramatically in the weights ever since. Billberry won a moderate classified stakes earlier in the week. It wouldn't be the biggest of surprises were he capable of defying a 6lb penalty. Darley castoff Scruffy Skip has chances if not wasting energy unnecessarily in the early stages. Trailblazing Flying Seasons is raced in first-time cheekpieces. Nawaaff looks to have regressed. Backers of Fly In Johnny will be hoping that his recent run at Brighton was simply a bad day at the office. Evenstorm has a decent apprentice booked.
