Verdict

FEVER TREE looks the percentage call in a handicap that will take little winning; Mack's Sister and Take My Hand represent threats on form grounds although a market move for Fashion Tycoon would place him firmly in the picture. Peter Makin's charge has improved since handicapping and was a tad unfortunate not to score over a mile at Bath. This race looks no tougher, she's got experience of the track and remains unexposed, so we're hopeful the filly can defy a 3lb rise; it'd have been more had she got up. Richard Hughes is an interesting booking aboard Mack's Sister and he operates at a profit when riding for Dean Ivory, who also operates at a profit in three-year-old contests here. She too arrives on the back of a career best and can be expected to get off the mark soon if not today. Take My Hand won a seven furlong handicap at Catterick earlier on this term and is back down to the same mark of 58, James Barrymore is 13lbs lower than when placing over course and distance just six starts ago and must be considered while support for handicap debutant Fashion Tycoon would have to be taken seriously. Singin' The Blues tries a visor while Miss Kitty Grey has been clobbered for winning at Yarmouth, so our inclination is to side with Fever Tree.
