Ali Bruce gets the confident vote here and is taken to score over Amazin and Fantaisiste. The selection remains on a handy mark and he lost no caste in defeat when a close third behind Dr Synn at Goodwood last time. He goes well here and looks to have a leading chance. Amazin won easily last time when beating Anchor Date at Newmarket, but that was in a claimer and although he will have had his confidence boosted by that success, he could be vulnerable in this company today. Fantaisiste has been running consistently well and she wasn't beaten far when second behind Resplendent Nova last time here. If she reproduces that run she should make the frame and she is respected. Material Witness would have claims on the pick of his form but he has been disappointing of late and for the winner we will return to Ali Bruce.
