Verdict

Only three of the field in this maiden have had racecourse experience and based on their debut runs it's very hard to split Alfraamsey and LEIBA LEIBA but we just side with the latter while Roche Des Vents should be better than he showed first time out. The selection ran a very encouraging debut when he was only just beaten in the final strides. Inexperience can be used as an explanation why he didn't get home and with more to come he should score this time. Alfraamsey also found just the one too on his first run and kept on strongly to chase home the winner. Given that he could perhaps do with running over further but with him also likely to come on for the run he is still a leading player. Roche Des Vents was a rare debutante failure for this yard but his pedigree suggests there's more to come so we suggest he needed that outing. Andrew balding has started the season well and his newcomer Black Cadillac has a decent enough pedigree to suggest he'll be in the mix but with experience already gained we like Leiba Leiba.
