A fillies' handicap gets racing underway and it should prove to be a well contested opener where we will side with VITA MIA ahead of Coral Shores and Where's Susie. The David Evans trained selection struggled over 1m 6f in soft ground at Leicester a couple of starts ago, but looked far more at home back over this trip last time. She won a decent handicap at Leicester early last month and given similar conditions today should be capable of repeating that success. Coral Shores is in a good mood recently she should continue to do well. Her two wins this year have come over this trip but her mark of 66 looks like holding her back and a finish among the minors looks best. Where's Susie was second when last over course and distance and looks a very capable sort. Her recent form is much improved and although she comes up against some tougher opposition this time a finish among the principles is to be expected. Chic Shanique and Oronsay have both had decent runs over this trip recently and should make this race interesting but both will need to up their game if they are to trouble the selection Vita Mia.
