Politeia can break her maiden here, with Olimpo and Ocean Avenue also worthy of attention too. Richard Hannon's filly is among the youngest on show here; this is her level and she won't mind if there's been some rain. None of the 11 scheduled runners have won this season, but Olimpo's been knocking on the door the last couple of times out, looking to add to successes in previous years. He's now racing off his lowest ever mark. That's the same for Ocean Avenue, who's 9 now, and without a win for more than a year, but this contest won't take a great deal of winning. The old fellow's had some decent runs this season, and looked better each time. But he may not be quite good enough to head the selection, which is Politeia.
