SAHARA KINGDOM wins a tentative vote ahead of Essexbridge and High Importance. We touched on Noseda's record at the track in the first division which brings the well related High Importance into the picture but Godolphin have a strong record in this race having landed both divisions in 2008 and one in 2007. Two of those three scored at the first time of asking which bodes well for the chances of Sahara Kingdom, a choicely bred 200,000 euro purchase. Frequency and Moose Moran are another pair of well bred newcomers whilst Essexbridge shaped pleasingly on debut when a length behind Verdant who runs in the first division. Baralaka has shown promise on both starts but may be seen to better effect once handicapping so is passed over today with the statistics pointing the way to Sahara Kingdom.
