    Verdict

SAGAMORE gets the vote after finishing strongly grabbing second in the latter stages last time out at Doncaster. This trip doesn't look beyond him given that effort, he has shown the most promise so far out of these runners and he is from a yard with a 41% strike-rate at the course this year. Short Break has shown little in her runs so far on the turf and is tried on the Polytrack for the first time. Pilote Celebre has improved in his two runs so far and with Andrew Balding's three-year-olds in fine fettle he may be the main danger.
