    Verdict

Those towards the head of the weights look pretty exposed with the exception of BAMAKO DU CHATELET who's gone well enough off his current mark to suggest he's capable of a strong showing. He's been running fairly well over further but has a course and distance win to his name on Turf and may appreciate the drop in trip. Hopefully, he'll be ridden to maximise assured stamina. Maroc, consistent at this level, appears suited by cut in the ground so course and distance winner, Hearty, is seen as the main threat. The son of Big Bad Bob ran well on debut for Richard Rowe, which crucially was his first notable form on quick ground - previous wins having come on soft. Iballisticvin merits a mantion on the back of a solid Turf run here last time and Joshua Bryan is proving good value for his claim.
