      Verdict

      A modest race. And one that can go to Love Empire, who makes his handicap debut off a fair mark and is expected to see off Bon Ton Roulet and A Dream Come True, who are fancied to pose the most problems on the way. A Dream Come True has shown bits and pieces of ability and made an encouraging reappearance last time out. There is little strength in depth amongst the rest, so it is feasible that the daughter of Where Or When can represent good value for at least a place in the frame. Bon Ton Roulet was no match for the selection when they met here last month but, as there is plenty of stamina on his dam's side, he can be expected to improve for the step up in trip. However, it is also expected to bring the best out of Love Empire and this nicely bred colt (for the All Weather) is fancied to provide yet another notch for Mark Johnston's race-winning tally.
