Verdict

Any market move for the highest-rated runner Souter's Sister would look ominous for her rivals, however AUTUMN BLADES has a fitness advantage and he can get back to winning ways. The selection seems to have turned over a new leaf this season, as he used to be reluctant to put his head infront. That has all changed though as he has now won three of his last five and he is preferred here despite the step up in class. The most interesting rival is the 104-rated Souter's Sister. She hasn't been seen for 483 days but has joined a shrewd outfit and this Group Three winner is not to be treated lightly. Everymanforhimself has three lengths to find on the selection on their run here last month and he needs to improve for the return of Neil Callan, Beckermet is a game front-runner but is yet to win over this trip and is not improving at the age of eight, whilst Carcinetto is a game mare who pops up every now and then but may struggle under her penalty. This could be a good chance for Autumn Blades to win again for young jockey David Probert.
