HESSIAN can land a tricky finale at the main expense of Support Fund and My Shadow. The selection is a course and distance winner and she has got a good strike-rate at this venue. The draw could have been kinder but the booking of Jamie Spencer is eyecatching and she did run really well when chasing home Mister Ross here last time. Support Fund looks her chief rival as she has been running well on the turf of late and she has shown some decent form here in the past. My Shadow does boast a couple of wins on the all-weather and he is back on a fair mark so he could certainly be of interest. Sir Michael Stoute's Pivka won well last time but she had previously been a bit expensive to follow and she is not one to be taking too short a price about. Hessian could be the value call in an open finale.
