Resplendent Ace comes here in good form but the race rather fell into his lap last time out at Southwell and he is reluctantly passed over in favour of HUCKING HERO. Jim Boyle's gelding was a winner at Wolverhampton last time out over a slightly longer trip. That selling race was no great shakes but he is in good form and he might get the race run to suit again this afternoon. Fair hurdler Karashar needs considering with the step up in trip in his favour, Brave Mave has a very hit and miss profile, whilst Moonbeam Dancer is one of the most consistent in the race but ultimately she is yet to win in seven starts. Piper's Song has run well on an artificial surface before so is not one to discount lightly, along with course and distance winner Ardmaddy. With the majority of his horses hitting the frame it is Hucking Hero who can oblige for Jim Boyle.
