In depth

Verdict

This claimer looks framed in favour of GIUILETTA DA VINCI and we think that Richard Hannon's charge can take advantage and get in front of Better Be Blue, who also benefits form the make-up of this field and Alfalevva looks the best of the rest. After struggling under high marks in handicaps the selection drops into this grade for the first time and is the highest rated here. He's closely matched with Better Be Blue at the weights but his form makes more pleasing reading. Better Be Blue, though, wouldn't have to improve much to get the better of the pick and ran well in defeat in one of these last time; she should also go on this surface. Alfalevva has plenty to find on these terms but only found just one too good in a similar race last time so if repeating that run should be in close order while One For Joules ran well in a handicap on her latest attempt so is another entitled to go well in this company. This looks a tight race but we'll stick with the highest rated in the field, Giuiletta Da Vinci.
