      Verdict

      This is another interesting handicap and it can go to Escape Route ahead of Non Compliant and Lord Theo. The Royal Ascot entry, Escape Route, returned for the season with a third in a Newbury race that has worked out pretty well. It will be disappointing if the course and distance winner was unable to put up a good show today. Mubaashir, Cool Box and El Bosque were behind him at Newbury. Non Compliant could be able to go well stepping up to seven furlongs, while Lord Theo benefited from a positive ride to win at Warwick last time and could yet show up well again from just a two-pounds higher rating. Finally, Disco Dan needs to build on recent performances and Teen Ager suggested last time that a mile might suit him, even though he managed to win over course and distance. We shall see but, for us, the selection today is Escape Route.
