    Verdict

MRS BOSS, Brambleberry and Guesswork make the shortlist here, with Mrs Boss taken to notch her first win. Guesswork has shown promise in both starts to date, running similar races on each occasion, just run out of it when a turn of foot was required. She has more experience than some of her rivals and can go well. Tom Dascombe has had a terrific campaign with his juveniles and he saddles Brambleberry, a son of Cape Cross out of a classy French miler. She looks the part on breeding and any market support should be heeded. Mrs Boss has been quite highly tried to date, showing good pace here on her latest start, before being outpaced by a Henry Cecil filly who was placed at Royal Ascot. That form looks good enough here, and Mrs Boss can take charge.
