    Verdict

CAYUGA was dropped back to a mile after a fourth at Pontefract over today's trip. He looked a little one-paced last time and the son of Montjeu gets another chance to bring his stamina into play here. He gets the nod ahead of Superciliary, third in better company at Leicester on his latest start and Arte Del Calcio, who faded badly over 1m4f at Bath having scored at this course before that. Scarlett Fever opened her account at Brighton last time but this is tougher while Hail Hail is hard to assess on his first start for new connections having so far raced without success in the French provinces.
