In depth

Verdict

The market should be most informative before this. COMADOIR is taken to finally get off the mark at the tenth attempt here. Runner-up in six of his ten outings, this former Jim Bolger inmate does look rather flattered by his rating of 80. In his defence the front two did pull some way clear of the remainder and the winner was only racing for the second time having finished runner-up in a Windsor maiden. A lot could hinge on what ability the debutant Theatre Street has. Market support should be monitored while the more exposed pair Today's The Day and Bobs Dreamflight. The last mentioned should be suited by reverting to six furlongs while Today's The Day is exposed but has pieces of form which leave her in with a chance. The blinkers which were applied for the first time on her latest start remain intact. Comadoir can belatedly get off the mark.
