In depth

Verdict

COLD FUSION stepped up to this trip for the first time at Newmarket last week and could hardly have been more impressive, making a successful handicap debut by 5l. She's been raised 9lb but has plenty of scope and should go on to better things. Betsalottie landed a minor handicap on Polytrack here and has run reasonably well in soft ground subsequently. He's on a lower mark on Turf so should get into the frame. Togetherwecan has been well beaten in amateurs' events recently and is better judged on her victory over this trip at Ayr last month. Perfect Quest didn't run very well when tackling this trip for the first time at Windsor but that was on soft ground and she's better than that.
