    Verdict

Mitanni can get the better of Iannis, Conservative and Indication. Mitanni shaped quite well on both juvenile starts, and has gone the right way this term, showing up well to finish third to Accompanist at Windsor last week. Amanda Perrett's gelding is a son of Lear Fan who of course was trained by Amanda's father, so they will be keen for this fellow to win, and with just a bit of improvement he can do so as long as he takes to the Polytrack surface at the first time of asking. Iannis stayed on to finish third over the course-and-distance last time so has some experience but gave the impression that he would benefit from another furlong, while Conservative has raced over six and eight furlongs at Yarmouth so far and now tries the in-between trip. Just which distance will suit him best is anybody's guess and he is best watched here. Indication found nothing when let down at Pontefract and now has a tongue-tie fitted. His earlier placed form at Newbury and Sandown gives him a chance of sorts, but we prefer the claims of Mitanni.
