    Verdict

Another competitive handicap where we like the look of Ranny, who can lead home Stoic Leader and Loch Laird. John Scargill's filly ran a cracker last time to finish runner up to Ripple Effect in a class D handicap. Today's opposition appears to be a lot weaker and this improving daughter of Emperor Jones can land the spoils. Stoic Leader is making his Lingfield debut after slaughtering a decent enough field at Wolverhamptonl last time, if acting on the Polytrack he has an obvious chance. Loch Laird also comes here following a recent success, he just got the better of Sonderborg in a tight finish over course and distance 10 days ago. He is raised six pounds for that victory but should still be in there fighting at the death. New trainer David Simcock has made an excellent start to his career so check out his runner Dark Shah for any market moves, but after careful consideration we can't get away from the chance of Ranny.
