Verdict

Shaws Diamond was beaten over three lengths by Cavitie at Wolverhampton last week and that looks the best piece of recent form on offer. Queenie's Star won in a lower grade at Kempton in March but reverted back to her more usual modest form last time, while same comment applies to Aggbag, who scored at Warwick on his penultimate start. However, Clearing House had ILLUMINATIVE back in fourth when winning over C&D in March but the latter is much better off here and he could end the day with another winner for Mike Smith.
