MUSASHI caught the eye at Chepstow last week and can take this race; the main dangers may be Count Ceprano and Great Bounder. Laura Mongan's gelding was slowly into stride last time but stayed on well to claim fifth behind Cereal Killer. He is a previous course and distance winner and he looks capable of taking a major hand from this mark of 59. Clever Omneya at the foot of the weights is back down to a fair mark and is not discounted back on the all-weather, however she is yet to prove herself away from Kempton. Dilli Dancer tries the eye-shields, Royal Acclamation should appreciate the return to Lingfield, whilst Ain't Talkin was a winner over seven furlongs here when last seen in January 2009. Signora Frasi is almost back to a winning mark, Great Bounder was in good form when last seen in January, whilst Count Ceprano didn't enjoy the soft ground at Warwick last time out and is not dismissed too readily. Amber Sunset and Ocean Edge remain capable of better, however in an open race we are inclined to side with Musashi.
