        Verdict

        Raydiation is the selection over Pigeon Island and Tower Hill, with Radical Attraction and Regal Magic two others that may command support. Raydiation showed up really well when a close fifth on his Newbury debut in October, and this son of Dynaformer should have no problem with the step up in trip on breeding. Connections will be disappointed if he cannot improve on his initial effort here and he can prove too strong for one or two interesting rivals. Henry Candy has had one juvenile winner at Lingfield from just four runners, and now introduces Pigeon Island who holds a Vodafone Derby entry. The son of Daylami has to be on the short-list along with Radical Attraction whose stable always know the time of day on the all-weather. Regal Magic's dam is a half-sister to King's Theatre so some black type would not go amiss in time, but she might be best watched as well, and with that promising run under his belt, it is Raydiation that makes more appeal.
