The most competitive race of the day comes in the finale with Velvet Waters, Yawmi, Heathyards Pride and Blue Bajan all short-listed with the vote going to the last named. A winner last time out at Bath over the twelve furlongs Blue Bajan comes here in full confidence. He has been highly tried in the past and has looked exposed too but in this grade he is very much a big threat and if in form will go close. Heathyards Pride won a little race a Beverly in August and has since been knocking on the door in similar company. He managed to finish second beaten a length at Bath last time out and if reproducing that form will be in the first three. Velvet Waters and Yawmi both have the talent to figure here and both look well treated on their best form so are worth noting in the betting market, but for the winner we return to Blue Bajan.
