Verdict

TROJAN NIGHTS can step up on his Newmarket debut run. Trained by William Haggas, this son of Street Cry (responsible for the artificial surface superstar Zenyatta) shaped with promise when fifth behind Desert Law at Newmarket. The second and third have franked the form and with the longer trip in his favour he looks the one to beat. Red Mercury is going the right way, and with Richard Hughes on top for the first time and the yard in great form he commands respect. Motivado is bred to improve with time and distance, whilst the Deep Impact filly Sunday Bess is an extremely rare contender who is fascinating on debut; she looks the more interesting newcomer than Hugely Exciting.
