Verdict

Ben Pauling has his string firing on all cylinders and his newcomer CAVERNOUS (NAP) is a full brother to top-class stablemate Willoughby Court, who won the Neptune Investment at Cheltenham in March and also won a couple of bumpers earlier in his career. He can overcome inexperience to beat Fontwell runner-up It's Got Legs and Haasab, who showed ability in a couple of starts at the start of the summer. Didtheyleaveuoutto is a full brother to a bumper winner but may be more of a long-term project.
