In depth

Verdict

Love Dubai, Serpentaria and Daylami Dreams form the shortlist in this tricky finale and the vote is given to Love Dubai. The selection looks to be on the upgrade and he benefitted from the step-up in trip when winning at Wolverhampton last time beating Troialini. He should relish every yard of today's trip and with the likelihood that there is more to come he gets the vote. Serpentaria won a maiden in style on her debut and although that form is difficult to evaluate she should be suited by this extra distance and she obviously has to be respected. Daylami Dreams won well enough over this course and distance last time but he does not look entirely straightforward and this does appear to be a more competitive handicap. Six Shots won well last time but a 6lbs penalty might just find him out today and for the winner we are happy to return to the progressive Love Dubai.
