Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Dan Tucker can overcome top weight in this company and gets the nod over Mutual Friend and Chunky's Choice. There may also be more to come from Hill Queen once her fitness has been proven and she is one keep tabs on for next time. Chunky's Choice makes his handicap debut at a modest level and, having faced some decent types in his three previous starts, he is one to seriously consider if the market vibes are positive. The son of Key Of Luck should cope with the trip and has to be considered as a leading contender in this company. Mutual Friend was an expensive failure here last time out and needs to start improving quickly. He is still unexposed and, with the step up in distance sure to suit, Ed Dunlop's runner is a viable alternative to the selection. However, Dan Tucker has a more solid profile and, as he knows what it takes to win a race, the son of Dansili gets the vote.
