    Verdict

Midnight Target, in good form around here in November, and Ffos Las winner Fille Des Champs both step up in distance and there will be no hanging about in this with TAMBURA in the line-up. She is the apple of her trainer’s eye and was very brave when holding off Theatre Goer at Plumpton in November. The latter is now a pound better off but Godfrey’s Maundrell mare can come out on top again. Cowslip probably prefers a sounder surface and Millicent Silver has been chasing and also looks held by the selection on past form.
