Verdict

Plenty in with chances but our short-list comprises East Tycoon, Lunar Crystal and Go For Bust with the vote going to the latter. The selection finished a close second in last year's renewal and holds every chance of going one better this afternoon. He didn't shine over fences for Nicky Henderson but was a useful hurdler in his prime for the Lambourn handler and doesn't have too many miles on the clock. He's been in decent form between the flags of late and should run a big race. Lunar Crystal won nine times under Rules and has been busy adding to his tally in points this year. He ran out a ready winner at Badbury last time and won't lack for assistance from the saddle with James Tudor aboard. East Tycoon made a fine debut in this sphere behind Bolachoir at Sandown and is entitled to come on for that run but it won't be easy to concede weight to all bar one of his rivals. Viscount Bankes has yet to run a bad race here and rates a mention but our advice is Go For Bust.
