SYDNEY SLING displayed a willing attitude to score at Ffos Las 15 days ago and is capable of following up today; possibly the main expense of Wizards Dust and his stablemate Cannon Fire. The last named is a consistent type that goes well at this time of year. Cut in the ground suits him ideally and, with his claiming rider taking 7lb off his back; a feasible case can be stated the eight-year-old. Wizards Dust made the most of a drop in the ratings to win a similar race at Wetherby last month. He was well held off a 7lb higher mark last time out, though. And it now looks as if the handicapper now has his measure once more. Therefore, it can pay to turn to Sydney Sling, who is open to more improvement at this trip and he looks a prime candidate for top honours; especially if Paul Moloney decides to use the reported fresh strip of ground on the inside of the course.
