Hold Court won bumpers here and at Fontwell last season and has also been placed in a point-to-point. He is very interesting now his attention is switched to hurdles but this sharp track will almost certainly suit BAB AL SALAM who just needed the run, his first for 20 months, when third to Dubai Glory on his hurdling debut at Huntingdon - he gets the nod. Calaf has been in good form in modest company on the Flat and had Lastofthemohicans well behind when winning a Haydock seller last month but Spa's Dancer has much better form on the level, though could have stamina issues over timber. Drum Valley has plenty of scope and preferred to Sparville and Mickie of the others.
