In depth

Verdict

Chez Castel Mail was only beaten a head in a small race at Market Rasen in May while Whispering Nick made late headway at Towcester earlier this month, though probably needs a stiffer test. That may also be true of former pointers Way Back Then and Dennis Our Menace and several newcomers are more interesting. HIGHWAY STAR, representing a stable that has a better than one in three strike rate here in bumpers, has a Flat pedigree and can get the better of Court Duty, Our Delboy and the Milan filly La Madrina.
