In depth

Verdict

The pleasingly progressive Quite The Man sets the standard after making a successful transition into handicap company. The form of his victory here over 2m1f has been impressively franked and he shapes as if likely to appreciate this significant step-up in trip. However, I CAN RUN CAN YOU is another improver who finally got his head in front last time after a series of progressive efforts and he just gets the nod in receipt of a stone from the topweight. The Laodicean, a close-up fourth last time, should have more to give on only his fifth hurdling start, whilst C&D winner Strobe and What's Occurrin are noteworthy.
