Verdict

With plenty of the main protagonists reaching the upper limits of their ratings we'll chance that STAGECOACH AMBER can repeat his emphatic performance last time with Ultimate Limit considered a danger and Ours shouldn't be dismissed either. While it was a moderate handicap the pick won last time it was by 18 lengths after a front running performance. His penultimate run aside he has some solid form this season and looks unexposed enough in this sphere to be able to overcome his eight pound mark rise. Ultimate Limit's mark is getting a little high but this one should handle the ground nicely and is in good heart. Ours has been prolific this winter after landing a hat-trick of handicaps at the back end of last year before following those up with a slightly disappointing runner's up spot in a novice chase. His mark does look a little on the high side but in the context of this race should go well. Fourball would be weighted to challenge but has only shown form softer going so we'll go with Stagecoach Amber to make it two in a row.
