Verdict

RUGGED JACK came out best on his handicap debut at Exeter during the week. He's taken to shrug off a penalty and follow-up in this company. Edmaaj went close in a bumper on the Polytrack last time and may figure back over timber but The Wealerdealer hasn't improved as expected in four starts over hurdles so far. Crookstown won over 2m5f here on Boxing day but has been tailed off in both subsequent starts and Kayfrou failed to cope in this grade on his latest start having won a lesser event at Bangor earlier.
