Verdict

Good ground clearly suit LORD GRANTHAM as he left previous form over hurdles behind when scoring on a quicker surface at Huntingdon last week. He is capable of further improvement and can defy his penalty in this though the going will also suit December's Musselburgh winner Parc des Princes. Like the selection, the latter is trying a new trip however. Simonside has a decent chance at the weights and Sixty Something shouldn't be ruled out, despite conceding weight all round, while Abbey Storm has to go on the short-list in his first handicap. Ludlow winner Faultless Feelings, Dawn Twister and Talkin Sence are others to consider in an open-looking heat.
