    Verdict

QUANTUM OF SOLACE (NAP) probably had little to beat at Perth but should be capable of following up in this lower grade, despite a 7lb rise. Methag and Mitcd are both recent winners on the Flat but the former has shown little aptitude for hurdling so far whereas the latter has won twice over timber, both times on good ground. Ilovemints has attracted market support in all four runs over hurdles but she’ll need to improve on her handicap debut at Southwell. Deduce looks the pick of the remainder.
