    Verdict

Costa Percy beat CITY DREAMER a length at Hexham with Parkwarden a further 14 lengths behind in fourth and Hot Lick tailed off after making the running to halfway. The runner-up is 7lb better off with the winner and should turn the tables. Bowban is preferred to the Satis House of the newcomers as he’s been placed in all three starts on the all-weather – he could be a danger if taking a liking to this new challenge.
