Verdict

FRASCATI PARK returns to the scene of his hugely impressive debut victory and should have too much class for these. Connections opted to send Frascati Park to Galway for a winners bumper on the final day of the festival, a bumper renowned for throwing up smart sorts and he went down by 3/4l to Caim Hill, the front two drawing 7l clear of the remainder. A galloper with plenty of scope, Frascati Park looks highly promising. Ardglen was well and truly put in his place by Present Gesture on debut and the form of that ladies bumper looks suspect although the winner went on to win another bumper subsequently. Son Of Flicka didn't appear suited by the sharp nature of Aintree when flashing home to take the runner-up spot in what looked a decent bumper on his final start. He is likely to make a smart novice hurdler in time but Frascati Park is picked to land the finale.
