LONG LUNCH was second on his debut at Huntingdon in March but only fourth when favourite at Wetherby a month later, though not beaten far. He should be a factor in this and is preferred to Operatic Heights, who only found one too good at Haydock in the spring though was beaten 12 lengths. Malcolm Jefferson does well here with his bumper horses so a market move for newcomer Torrington Deal would be worth noting and Sarsari hinted at ability at Stratford in June - he looks the pick of the remainder.
