In depth

Verdict

Fanunalter flopped over a slightly longer trip last week but will surely be finding his feet soon but Dark Matter found a mile too far last time after two victories over 7f. Jaasoos ran a fine race behind Delegator last time and a repeat will get him into the mix though Dux Scholar, who finished behind that day, is very much better than he showed and the former Sir Michael Stoute Listed winner is expected to make his presence felt. The ex-France-trained Sandagiyr made a fine start for Godolphin on Tapeta three weeks ago and has plenty of scope for further improvement but the one to beat is VISCOUNT NELSON, who looked right back to his very best form when landing the Grade 2 Al Fahidi Fort a fortnight ago and should follow up if in that kind of form.
