Mr Brock won twice here last year on Tapeta but is just as effective on turf as he showed when a very good third behind Monterosso in the Grade 2 Dubai City Of Gold last week. He had been beaten by Bronze Cannon on this surface earlier but can take his revenge on these terms. EMIRATES CHAMPION won here a year ago and had just one run in the UK when down the field in the John Smith's Cup at York. He returned with a smooth success three weeks ago and with improvement guaranteed he can defy a 6lb rise in the weights. Frankie Dettori rides and he was on board when Bay Willow scored over the C&D a fortnight ago when Prizefighting finished around four lengths back in third. The veteran Hunting Tower won nicely over the C&D a month ago but wasn't at his best on turf last time.
